THE LEADING TERMINAL IN THE MEDITERRANEAN

CSP Iberian Valencia Terminal S.A.U is an affiliated company of COSCO SHIPPING Ports (Spain) Terminals S.L.U. (CSP Spain).

Strategically located in the Mediterranean (at the port of Valencia, Spain), the terminal enjoys a hub position in the main maritime routes connecting Spain and Europe with other continents. Particularly important are the routes to North and South America, Far and Middle East and IPBC, in addition to being a key node in the initiative “One belt, one road”, which recovers the ancient Silk Road.

In this sense, its nearness to the Suez-Gibraltar axis –route of the main transoceanic lines– should also be highlighted.

For these reasons, it is a port of call of the main shipping lines worldwide and it features an important connection of feeder services between the Mediterranean and Africa.

It has thus become the main gate of access of containerized cargo to the Iberian Peninsula as well as the natural port of Spain’s capital city, Madrid. Its hinterland covers a 350-km radius accounting for 55% of the Spanish BIP.

Its 2.3-km berthing line and 145-hectare yard, as well as a port railway terminal with direct connections to Madrid, Zaragoza and Bilbao and an automatic gate system for local cargo flows explain why CSPV is the benchmarking terminal in the Mediterranean.

TERMINAL DE REFERENCIA EN EL ARCO MEDITERRÁNEO

CSP Iberian Valencia Terminal S.A.U forma parte del grupo COSCO SHIPPING Ports (Spain) Terminals S.L.U. (CSP Spain).
