Smart Documentation Controller, Operation Management
Terminal operation includes various operational interfaces between container terminal and various other organizations such as shipping lines, consignees, stevedoring companies, customs etc. Information needed for terminal planning and operation will be received from these different organizations in different forms. Those data shall be saved in and controlled by an agreed tool to avoid confusion and mixture. CATOS Operation Management is a documentation management program with rich functionalities for the most efficient data control and management. The data can be received via Web, EDI, e-mail or fax and if such data is received in electronic form, it can be automatically uploaded in Operation Managemet. If received by other form such as fax, data entry using Operation Management program is also possible and every data stored in Operation Management will be shared among all CATOS programs.
CATOS package also includes Web-IP(Information Provider) that manages data entry and inquiry via Web. Along with CATOS EDI mapping program that support various EDI formats including UN/EDIFACT messages, CATOS data management systems provide the most powerful data control and documentation.
